Jorge Perez, 44, of Blythe, California, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025, in Palm Springs, California, surrounded by his family. Born on December 19, 1980, in Mexicali, Baja California, Jorge was one of five children and a beloved son, father, brother, and friend.

He attended local schools in Blythe, where he met his wife, Brandi, during their teenage years. Together, they built a life that included their two children, who were his pride and joy. The title of dad was one Jorge took very seriously, and to know Jorge was to know that his children were the center of his world.

Jorge had a deep love for his family, and his devotion to them was unmatched. He was compassionate and loyal, had a great sense of humor, and was a constant source of support for those closest to him. Jorge loved sports and could be heard throughout the house supporting the Dallas Cowboys, LA Dodgers, and LA Lakers. Music, working on cars, and fishing were his favorite forms of therapy, and his hobbies included photography, planning family trips, and playing with his grand dog, Muncy.

Jorge is survived by his wife, Brandi Chavez, and his legacy lives on through his children, Daniel (Marilyn) Perez and Alexis (David) Perez; his father, J. Jorge Perez; his loyal companions, Zoey and Batman; as well as a host of loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, M. Elena Perez, and his grandparents, Respicio and Adela Perez, and Lino and Epigmenia Ferrer.

Interment will be private, as per the family's request. Jorge's faith in God was unwavering, and we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in our Lord's eternal care.
