Johnny "Frog" Foster was born April 22, 1949 to Henry (Sr.) and MaryLee Foster in Blythe, California. He was one of five children.
He attended the local schools and was a member of the Palo Verde Yellow Jackets varsity football team.
Frog loved the outdoors. In his earlier years, he spent countless hours hunting and fishing with his brothers, nephews and friends.
He knew every aspect of the agricultural business. He had a very long career working for local farmers here in the Palo Verde Valley, and was well respected for his knowledge.
Frog departed this life at the age of 69 on August 17, 2018 at St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry (Sr.) and MaryLee Foster, two brothers, Michael "Pollywog" Foster and Henry "Hank" Foster Jr., along with his two sisters Esther Davis and Ellie Mae Harmon.
Frog didn't have any chldren of his own, but he did have a host (too many to count) of nieces and nephews who were all "his kids". He spent many hours laughing, joking, playing and teasing with "his kids" and he always had a good story to tell. He leaves them behind, along with his many, many friends to cherish his memory.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 6th from 6PM to 8PM at Frye Chapel. Funeral service will be held at Frye Chapel at 10:00AM on Friday, September 7th.
