John Roger Robertson
March 21, 1942 - January 15, 2024

John Roger Robertson passed away peacefully on January 15, 2024, at home with his family, at the age of 81.

He was born on March 21, 1942, in Riverside, CA to Oswald Robertson and Margaret Franklin.

John was a proud resident of Blythe, CA where he achieved his dream of becoming a business owner of John R. Robertson Truck, Inc.  He loved trucking and the early morning sunrises, and enjoyed time with his family and close friends, who knew him as "Percy".  John was always willing to help others in need.

John is survived by his wife of 61 years, Virginia, and children Roberta, Dale, and John A., seven grandchildren, Christopher,  Brittney, John Jr., Catalina, Margaret, Kathleen, and Matthew; four great-grandchildren Kristiana, Kataleya, Kiara, and Enzo; Sister Darlene (William) Maxey, and Brother Richard (Carol) Little.  He was preceded in death by Parents Oswald Robertson and Margaret Franklin, Brother Dennis Robertson, Nephew Roger Robertson, and Grandson Christopher Pierce.

A viewing and service will be held at Frye Chapel in Blythe, CA on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 beginning at 10am.  Burial will follow at Palo Verde Cemetery.
