We sadly announce the passing of John Raymond Perez Jr. of Grangeville, Idaho. John Passed away on April 13, 2023 at the age of 42.

John was born on March 29, 1981 to John Raymond Perez Sr. and Maria de Jesus Pereira Perez in Fresno, CA. His siblings are Veronica Gutierrez, Marcos Perez and Daniel Perez. He was raised in Blythe, CA from the age of 6 where he attended Ruth Brown Elementary School. He then went on to attend Palo Verde High School. John, better known as Johnny by his peers in school, was a part of the football team and the wrestling team until his junior year. He finished his education graduating from Twin Palms High School his senior year. Soon after graduation John became a family man. He has three children Adrianna Perez, Gabriela Perez, and John Joaquin Perez, whom he cared for and loved very much. Leaving Blythe for a new adventure, he moved his family up north. Years later he moved to Grangeville, Idaho where he lived until the night of his passing.

John's Faith and family has always been his priority. As a teenager John found his faith in God and became a member of The Church of Christ.  He later raised his children to have the same faith as himself.

Some of John's hobbies included fishing, hiking, running, and nature walks, among other activities.

John was a kindhearted person always willing to help others. He saw nothing but good in everyone he met. He always wore a smile on his face that could light up a room. We will miss you always John Raymond.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 9th at Frye Chapel from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 10 am at Frye Chapel with committal services following at Palo Verde Cemetery.
