Jose "Joe" Guadalupe Hernandez, went to be with our Lord and Savior and watch over us, on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the age of 72 in Blythe, California. He was born August 6, 1945, in Robstown, Texas to More and Francisca Hernandez.

Joe married his wife of 53 years Adela Esquibel on February 7,1964, in Ralls, Texas. He worked as a tow truck driver and a mechanic for Charlie Graham Chevrolet (Larry Green Auto) for 35 years until his retirement in 2006. Joe served the Lord and became a minster in 1975 for the Apostolic Assembly. Joe's greatest happiness was enjoying his grandchildren, great grandchildren, going to church and singing songs to the Lord. We could always count on Joe to have a great song to sing at church.

He is survived by his wife, Adela; his children, Susana (Robert) Medina, Sulema Reyes, Jose "Joey" Hernandez, and Samuel (Laura) Hernandez; His grandchildren, Joseph (Clarisa) Hernandez, Abrianna (Jose) Hernandez, Samantha Medina, Sabreena Hernandez, Jessica Hernandez, Robert Medina, Kimberly Reyes and Kylie Hernandez; His great grandchildren, Natalie Hernandez, Angel Manjarrez, Daisy Hernandez, and Gabriela Manjarrez; As well as many nieces and nephew from the Esquibel and Hernandez families.

Joe had a special bond and love of his Mother in Law Paulina Esquibel. He was more than just a brother in law to most of the Esquibel siblings, Eugenio "Junior", Danny, Joe Angel "Barney", Adan, Eva, Oralia, Rogelio "Roger", Gloria, Frank, Roy, Sylvia, Diana, Irene, Alex, and Rudy. He truly loved and cared for them as his own.

Services for Joe Hernandez will be held at Frye Chapel and Mortuary on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. There will be a viewing beginning at 9 am and Services begin at 10 am with the Graveside services immediately following.
