Joe would like to let you know his work here is done. He received an offer he couldn't refuse, and decided to take some extended leave. This new offer came with amazing benefits including a reunion with his mom, dad, siblings, and friends, and a full head of jet-black hair. The new scenery is spectacular, laughter and love is constant, and the wonderful sound of mariachi music never fades. The food is delicious, sports are always on the horizon-size big screen, and USC never loses. Although he will forever miss the old place and the people so special to him here, Joe will welcome us with open arms while holding up his right hand and welcoming you with the USC fight on sign.

He is survived by his two children, Danny Grijalva of Blythe, Ca., Valerie Grijalva and son in-law, Chad Boardman of Las Vegas, NV. as well three grandchildren, Jacob (16), Danissa (13) and Colton (11).

The celebration of Joe's life will begin on Friday, April 28, 2017, 9:30am, at Frye Chapel in Blythe. Church services will be held afterwards at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church at 11:00am, followed by burial with military honors at Palo Verde Cemetery, and food and entertainment at the VFW.
