Jo Ann Davis, 85, passed away May 1, 2018 in Blythe.  Jo Ann was born May 7, 1932 in Pretty Prairie, Kansas to Oscar and Phylis Irene (Mohs) Walters.  Her mother passed away when Jo Ann was just four years old and was raised by her father and stepmother Cora.

Jo Ann moved to Blythe with her parents in the early 1940's.  She soon met her love JB Davis and they were married on August 3, 1950 in Yuma, Arizona.

Jo Ann worked as a bookkeeper for many years for Red and Peggy Mallett (Mallett & Sons), Clancy Osborne at Century 21 and Larry Green.

She was preceded in death by her husband JB in 2005 and her son Jerry in 2008.

She is survived by her sons Jack (Christine) Davis and Darell (Linda) Beshears; her grandchildren Rachelle Johnson-Worch, Jackie Blu Davis and Christian Glenn Davis; her great grandchildren Gavin Ray Worch and Garrett Andrew Worch; as well as many extended family friends.

Services will be held at Frye Chapel on Thursday, May 10th with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. and funeral services starting at 10:00 a.m.  Graveside services will follow at Palo Verde Cemetery.
