Jesus Rocha Gomez, 88, passed away at his home with his family by his side on July 14, 2023. He was born on July 20, 1934 to Fidel Rocha and Paula Gomez in Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico. He was one of nine siblings.

Jesus moved to Ripley, California in 1978 from Phoenix, Arizona and worked with various agricultural farming companies. He was always a very dedicated worker, working for Arakelian Farms Inc. and Desert Security Farms as an irrigator for 50 plus years before retiring.

One of his passions was watching his soccer games and the other was he enjoyed spending time with his family which was his most important accomplishment.

He is survived by his wife Antonia Barraza De Rocha; seven children: daughter Lupita Calleja (Antonio), son Pablo Rocha (Glenda), daughter Maria Rocha, daughter Sylvia Brooks (Richard), son Jesse Rocha (Aida), son Salvador Rocha (Heather) and son Cesar Rocha; 12 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, two sisters and one brother.

Visitation for Jesus will be held on Tuesday, July 25th from 6-8:00 p.m., with Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at Frye Chapel.  Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 26th at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with Mariachi and burial will follow at Palo Verde Cemetery.  There will be a reception immediately after at the American Legion in Blythe.
