Jerrad Jackson Solis blessed our lives on March 25th, 2004 in Palm Springs, California, born to Deena Wadley and Adam Solis, and entered the next life on July 31st, 2023. He lived in several other cities in his short life but Blythe was always his home. He is a Twin Palms High School Class of 2023 graduate.

Jerrad's entrance into the world brought so much joy and excitement to his families as he was the baby boy of 25 plus grandchildren. He was destined to be spoiled and favored by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and all his cousins (which he was). He was an absolute ham from the time he could smile and had an infectious personality, a special sense of humor, enormous charisma, and super high energy. There was no laugh he couldn't have and no heart he couldn't melt.

Early on, he developed a love for sports and was a naturally gifted athlete. He found his niche in both football and baseball, shining on both sides of the ball from the time he started. He played his hardest to earn his spot on the field and was a star player for whoever he played for. He was given the nickname Jerrad "The Beast" Solis at Etna High School where a local burger joint even named a milkshake after him dubbed "The Beast". His dream was to play football and baseball for the University of Southern California in which he often said would be his ticket to the NFL where he'd then "take care of his mama for life". He loved watching football with his family and was a lifelong Pittsburg Steelers fan along with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Jerrad enjoyed the simple things life has to offer along with the finer things. He loved a nice pair of sneakers but could also be found in a worn pair of old cowboy boots, loved a gourmet meal but was just fine eating something he caught or hunted, and was just as comfortable watching a pro baseball game behind home plate as he was a canal bank. He enjoyed being outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, or just soaking up the elements in the woods, desert, ocean, or river.

Jerrad was a lover of life and living things, enjoying Mother Nature along with all her thrills and adventures. He was never afraid of a challenge and never afraid to take a little risk for a great experience (adrenaline fix). There was no roof, no cliff, no bridge he wouldn't consider jumping off of into a pool, creek, canal, or river. He had many pets throughout his life but was especially a dog lover. However, there was no other closer to him than his canine companion Pup Pup.

As unbearable and tragic his departure has been for all that knew and loved him, Jerrad leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, togetherness, and light. Although we will all miss him and forever feel the void of his absence, his memory will not soon be forgotten.

Jerrad is survived by his parents Adam Solis and Deena Wadley, his brothers Corey, Layne, and Jayson Solis, his grandmother Rita Birdsong, his great grandmother Lucy Lechuga, nine aunts and uncles, his loving girlfriend Hayley Dean, dozens of cousins, numerous friends, and his beloved Pup Pup.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Bob and Linda Wadley, great grandmother Ollie Bell Moore, and great grandfather Joe Lechuga.

A memorial service for Jerrad will be held on Friday, September 1st at 10:00 a.m. at Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Blythe.
