Jeffry Jay Burke, 74, passed away peacefully at his home in Calimesa, CA on March 24, 2026.

He was born on January 29, 1952 in Long Beach, CA.

Jeff served in the United States Air Force for 4 years before he was Honorable Discharged at a Sergeant rank.  He then joined the department of corrections where he worked as a correctional officer for many years before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his wife Charlene Burke in 2019 and his wife's twin sister Marlene Miner in 2025.

He is survived by his dear friend and companion, Jani Tomlin, as well as his extended family and friends.

A funeral service for Jeff will be held on Thursday, April 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at Frye Chapel with Military Honors following at Palo Verde Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.
