Jeffrey Ray McLain was called back to heaven on April 26, 2022 in Hollister, CA.  He was 67 years old.  Jeffrey was born on September 10, 1954 to Harold and Phyllis McLain in Los Angeles, CA.  Jeff graduated from Palo Verde High School with the Class of 1973.

On October 22, 1977 Jeff married the love of his life and best friend, Catalina Guilin.  Together they had three children - Jeff, Sarah and John.

Jeff worked for an ambulance service where he first met Cat. He was a part of the Blythe Volunteer Fire Department for many years.  He worked for the Palo Verde Irrigation District and and retired from the City of Blythe Public Works Department after 20 years.  After Cat's passing, Jeff moved to the Gilroy area to be near some of her family.  His son, John, later moved to Northern California where they lived until his passing.

Jeff enjoyed Jeeping, geo caching, and going to NHRA drag races.  He was always supportive and a part of Catalina's great cooking adventures, especially Cat's kitchen at the Colorado River Fair.

Jeff was a hard working man, honest, and always had a hand to lend if needed.

Jeff is preceded in death by his loving wife, Catalina and his daughter Sarah.  He is survived by his sons Jeff and John.

Memorial Services will be held in Saturday, July 16, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 10 AM
