Janet C. Presley

Janet Carol Presley, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on November 25, 2024, after a brief illness.

Janet was born December 22, 1932, in Evanston, Illinois. She met her husband-to-be, William (Bill) Presley, at Monmouth College during a school dance. They married on December 31, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois. In 1953, they moved to Brawley, California, where they had five children, and she became a school teacher and high school counselor. She and Bill were very active in their children's activities and social events. After retirement, Janet and Bill spent their summers in Beaver, Utah, and the rest of the year in the countryside of Brawley. Bill passed away in 2015 and Janet spent the rest of her life maintaining a busy social calendar with her friends and family in Brawley.

She is survived by her five children, Susan Sullivan (Jim), Michael (Sydney), Margaret Dahm (Steve), Bill (Sandy), and Bob (Dana); 17 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 10th, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Riverview Cemetery with a reception directly following at Stockman's Club. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
