James Edward Sutton
November 21, 1927 – August 22, 2021

James E. Sutton, 93, of Yucaipa California joined our Lord and savior Jesus Christ on August 22, 2021.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Geraldine (Geri) Sutton, father Walter E. Sutton, mother Jewel Sutton and his brother and sisters David, Rosella, Eve, and Cathy.

James is survived by his three children Larry E. Sutton, Karen L. Linnabarry and James M. Sutton along with Six grandchildren, Seven great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild and countless friends.

He served in the United States Army in 1948 and retired from the Yucaipa school district in 1989 where he worked for 18 years. His life was well lived and just as he wanted. He was a lover of all things outdoors including fishing, camping, hunting and golf. He loved and was extremely proud of his family and cherished every minute spent with them.

James was a strong, proud and good man! He is loved and will be missed by so many!

Visitation will be held on September 7, 2021 at 9:00am at Frye Chapel and Mortuary of Blythe 633 N. 7th St. Blythe, Ca. 92225, followed by graveside services at Palo Verde Cemetery, 343 W. 10th Ave. Blythe, Ca. 92225
