Jacob Jordan Ward was born on January 8, 1994 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Kent and Lisa Ward. He entered into rest on November 28, 2022.

Jake was a free spirited, happy-go-lucky person. He never met a stranger and could carry on a conversation with anyone. Jacob loved his family fiercely and he was equally loved by them. He would give anyone in need the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his pocket.

He was an outdoorsy person that loved surfing, fishing, and camping. Jake would take yearly camping trips with his parents to Priest Gulch, Colorado, where they would enjoy fishing and exploring the area. Jake and Kent also spent a lot of time fishing the backwaters, river and canals of Blythe, and driving up to Lake Havasu to take the boat out on the lake.

Jake had many joys in life, but the thing he was most passionate about was singing. If you were to ask anyone who knew him what he was most notorious for, it would be singing and playing his ukulele. Jake started singing lessons at age 8 in Blythe. After moving back to Hawaii in 2005, Jacob's father, Kent encouraged him, along with his younger brother, Wyatt to play guitar, so his older brother Noah stepped in to help. Jacob and Wyatt were quickly playing guitar, ukulele and harmonizing together constantly.

Jake was asked all the time to sing and was always more than happy to do it. He loved to volunteer his time singing at the Blythe Nursing Home. He also sang at the Special Olympics when they came through Blythe, would visit the prisons with his instrument and sang often at the Cancer Walk. He was also involved with talent shows including Blythe's Got Talent and Mr. Blythe.

Jake is survived by his mother, Lisa Ward, sister, Ali Nouse (Adam), brothers, Noah Wade (Tiffany), Wyatt Ward (Dallas), and Jad Ward, his grandparents Dean and Sue Lester, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Kent Ward, sister Christy Ward-Weldon, Grandparents Wayne and Joanne Ward, and Grandfather Robert Blackwood.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
