Isabel
Naranjo
Oct 3, 1960 — Sep 13, 2022
Blythe
Isabel passed away peacefully in the morning of September 13th at Blythe Post Acute. She was born October 3rd 1960 at Palo Verde Hospital in Blythe to parents, David and Bertha Naranjo.
She was the youngest of 5 siblings, Henry, Rachel, Alex and Larry. Isabel attended schools in Blythe graduating in 1978 from Palo Verde High School. She also attended 1 year at Palo Verde Junior College.
When she was growing up, Isabel loved to go and visit with her grandparents Manica and Padavi. She would learn how to cook and prepare Mexican food, make tamales, menudo and tortillas. She was a wonderful baker, too. She also loved going to the river with her family, when Coors had their family picnics at Paradise Point.
Isabel loved music, especially Mexican music rancheras and cumbias, which was playing in the house when her mom was cooking in the kitchen or cleaning the house. Isabel always would help her mom do these things.
As Isabel moved on with her life, she married William A. Jones in 1987. She and Bill worked together, Bill's Lawn Service. After a few years working in the lawn business, she was employed as an in home health care assistant. She took great pride in helping those who didn't have the help.
A few years went by, when Isabel acquired cancer. She put up a strong fight, doing all the treatments she had to do, but still was not enough.
The family would like to thank Blythe Cancer Society and Blythe Post Acute for assisting and caring for Isabel.
Isabel was preceded in death by her great grandfather Atilano Naranjo, grandparents Nicolasa and David H. Naranjo, parents Bertha and David P. Naranjo, brother Henry D. Naranjo many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Isabel is survived by son Thomas and his 2 children Kloe and London, son Charles and his daughter Alyssa, daughter Ana, sister Rachel, brother Alex (Carol) and brother Larry (Maile).
