HOWARD DWAYNE "BUGGY" ENTWISTLE

Howard Dwayne Entwistle passed away at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, CA on Sunday, August 1, 2021.

Howard was born at Palo Verde Hospital in Blythe, CA on March 30, 1956, the second of six children, and lived in Blythe, CA his entire life. He was named after his maternal grandfather Howard C. Sutton. He was affectionately known as "Buggy", a childhood nickname given to him by his older brother Norman because he was always "bugging" him and wanted to go everywhere and do everything with him.

Buggy graduated in 1974 from Palo Verde High School and later graduated from Palo Verde College with an AA degree in Liberal Arts. He worked with his father Junior Entwistle and uncle Sidney Sutton in the custom hay business.

Buggy loved to gamble. There were frequent trips to the casino in Parker, AZ with his brother Ethan and frequent lottery ticket purchases!

Buggy was preceded in death by his parents, Orville Leroy "Junior" Entwistle and Myrtle Ruth "Myrtie" nee Sutton, paternal grandparents Robert William Entwistle and Rosa Anna "Rosie" nee Oberlag, maternal grandparents Howard Christopher Sutton and Sylvia May nee Ricker, and a nephew, Ryan Foster.

He is survived by four brothers and one sister: Norman Entwistle (Rhonda), Ethan Entwistle, Robert Entwistle, Troy (Shelia) Entwistle, all of Blythe, CA, and Tracy Arbegast (Mike) of Plumas Lake, CA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, two aunts, Rosemary Entwistle Esquerra and Joyce Entwistle Lindsey, and numerous cousins.

Buggy will be missed greatly by his family and friends. He has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held in the Fall to be announced at a later date.
