Gwendoyln Frances Jones was born to William Adolphus Jones and Antoinette J. Jones on September 21, 1954 in Los Angeles, California.  Gwen was the eldest of nine children: Billy, Daniel, David, Aaron, Laurena, Adrienne, Joyce and Rachel Jones.

The Jones family moved to Blythe in 1964 where she attended Palo Verde High School and earned her high school diploma.

Gwen is survived by her three children: Jeffery, Shawndrea and Shanica Robinson and also her life partner Johnny Jones.

Gwen was a loving individual and like anyone else, she had her days.  Gwen was a mother figure to many who loved and cherished her.  She was a great mother and grandma to six grandchildren: Audresna, Demillo, Kellis, Tamaury, Lee and Tony, by whom she will truly be missed.

On December 29, 2019, God called home another angel.  Until we meet again.

A visitation will be held Sunday, January 12th, at Frye Chapel from 6 - 8 pm.  Graveside services will be held Monday, January 13th at 10:00 am at Palo Verde Cemetery.
