Gloria
Farrage
Oct 2, 1931 — May 17, 2023
Phoenix
Gloria Yvonne Farrage passed away peacefully on May 17th, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was 91 years old. She had a long, happy life and she will be missed. We find comfort knowing she is now at peace.
Gloria was born on October 2, 1931. She was born and raised in Nogales, Arizona, the youngest of six children. Her oldest brother was 25 years old when she was born and the youngest was 12 years older, so she was truly the baby of the family.
Gloria married Richard Farrage, the love of her life, in 1954. She moved to Blythe, California after they married and started her family. First a daughter Cynthia then a second child Ricky, who died at the age of two. The loss of Ricky at such a young age was forever with her. Her third child Michael completed her family.
Her children and family were everything to her. She was most content at home surrounded by family and friends.
Gloria had a way of making the people she loved feel like they were the most special people and that they could do anything. Her heart was good and if you ever had a problem Gloria was there for you.
Gloria and Dick left Blythe and settled in Hemet and then in Phoenix, but in their hearts Blythe was always home.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Richard, son Ricky, her mother Mabel and her five siblings.
She is survived by her daughter Cynthia (Jim), Son Mike (Cindy), five grandchildren Natalie, Danielle, Trevor, Courtney and Kelsey nine great grandchildren.
