Gloria Adame Aviles was born on October 24, 1930 in Durango, Mexico to Ladislada Chaves Aldaleo and Daniel Adame Castaneda. She passed away at her home in Blythe on March 20, 2020 at the age of 89.

Gloria was a very caring and selfless person who made a big impact on every person she met. She gave tough love to those who needed it, but no matter what she always made sure to tell her family how much she loved them. She had many dear friends that meant so much to her; she had her biological family and her 'adopted' Medina family that she stole and were now her family too, but who loved her very much and that she loved with all her heart.  She touched many hearts and changed many lives and she will forever be missed until we meet again in heaven!

Gloria was preceded in death by the love of her life, Armando Aviles; her son Augustin Amaya, and daughters Sylvia Mena and Amalia Adame Aviles.

She is survived by her son, Armando Aviles and his wife Stephanie Medina Aviles, and their son Christopher Nicholas Aviles (with whom she spent her last years happily living with); her siblings, Allegandrina, Berta, Alfredo, Raul, Manuel, Soledad, Evangelina, Virginia, Rosa, Rufino, Chilo and Isidro; children, Maria Iniguez and Irma Cooper; grandchildren, Gloria Wilks, Agustin Lara, Angelica Reyna Lara, Skye Elizabeth Lara, Susie Amaya Mena and her children: Anthony Carrillo, Angelo Xavier Carrillo, Damian Ysaias Perez, Daylan Osiris Perez, Iylean Alize Barraza; Ricky Mena, Saul Mena and his daughter Irie Mena, Armando Aviles and Justin Anthony Aviles.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Frye Chapel. Private burial services will take place afterwards at Palo Verde Cemetery.
