Gilbert Louis Lerma II (Gil) passed away at the age of 59 in Blythe, California on December 2, 2021.

Gilbert was born on April 28, 1962, the beloved son of Gilbert Sr. and Irene Lerma and brother to Gail, John and Victoria. He was father to Amber and Jessica and grandfather to Jameson. He was also uncle to Michael, Summer, Robert, Anthony, Melissa, Justin and Zackary, Parker, Asher, Enzo, Alex, Layla and Luna.  And he was a loving companion to longtime girlfriend, Sheri Hogan.

Gilbert dedicated most of his life to the boat industry as a wonderful mechanic in which he became very well known. Gilbert was also a hay squeeze driver and a hay broker. He was literally a jack of all trades. His passions included driving his boat and playing his guitar.

Gilbert will be remembered by family and friends as a loving, caring and kind person who always put others before himself. God bless him.
