George "JoJo" De Sousa Dias was born April 5, 1939 in Rabat, Morocco and on June 29, 2017 at the age of 78 he departed from his home in Blythe to join his wife Monique in heaven.

JoJo, a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend was definitely one of a kind and will be greatly missed by many. JoJo was a machinist for more than 60 years and was well known around the valley for his work. He loved what he did and he took pride in it. He would even tell you that he was the best and that you would never be able to find anyone else to do it as good as he could. Although his work in the shop and the animals around the house kept him busy he always made sure to find the time to do the things that he loved like hunting, fishing and of course going to the auction.

He is survived by his daughters Cathy (Aaron) Crain, Christine and Crystal and his sons George (Tina) and Chris; nine grandchildren Chelsea, Katlyn, Alysse, Landen, Chase and Madison De Sousa Dias, Jennifer Elms, Devin and Blake Crain, two brothers, two sisters, nieces, nephews and tons of friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Monique, his father, mother and two brothers.

Per his request, there will not be any services or celebration of life held.

Over the years he has touched a lot of lives and has given many people things to always remember him by so one thing for sure is he will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

The Family would like to give a huge thanks to Dr. Brooks and staff for providing the best care ever and always being just a phone call away. Dr. Brooks went out of his way and did all things possible to make sure he was as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much Dr. Brooks for being such a great friend to our dad, we love you.
