Obituary

Frank James Stewart passed away on April 19, 2019 in Rancho Mirage, California. He was born on May 23, 1942 in Phoenix, Arizona. He moved to Blythe with his parents at a very early age.

Frank was preceded in death by his brother, Paul M. Stewart, and his parents, James F. and Pauline R. Stewart.

Frank is survived by his two children, Trisha Watson, and Tom Hamm, and many grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and friends, including his longtime partner, Kay Mason.

Frank graduated from Palo Verde High School in 1960. He was quite an athlete playing baseball, football and participating in many rodeos in his younger years. In his later years his passion was fishing. Going fishing and participating in fishing tournaments was his joy in life. He was a longtime member of the Blythe Bass Club.

Frank worked for the County of Riverside as a mechanic for many years and retired in 2005.

Please join us to celebrate the life of Frank Stewart on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall in Blythe.

Frank will be missed by all who loved him.
