Florentino M. Zarate was born in Stanton, Texas on March 13, 1955, and passed away in Yuma, Arizona on June 26, 2026.

He lived most of his life in Blythe, California where his mother Clotilde Zarate and his siblings lived. He was a father of 7 children; three boys and four girls. He loved dancing and playing music, his favorite instrument was the accordion. He had a funny sense of humor therefore he had a happy heart. He will be deeply missed by many.

He is survived by his children; Alicia Zarate Granados, Wanda Ivet Fabela, Tina Marie Zarate, Isreal Zarate, Maricela Zarate, Tony, and lots of grandkids and great grandkids.

Services for Florentino will be held at Frye Chapel and Mortuary on Monday, July 13th. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. and the funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. with burial following at Palo Verde Cemetery.
