Our beloved father, Fernando Rodriguez, passed away on August 17, 2022 in Palm Springs, California.

Fernando was born on May 25, 1961 in Blythe, California to Antonio and Emilda Rodriguez. He was raised in Blythe and lived in Hollister later in life.

Fernando was a longtime tire technician who worked hard and put his heart into every job that he performed. He enjoyed barbequing, camping trips, fishing, and introducing his children to rock music like Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers and the Eagles, and other favorites like Sade. He also liked his oldies. Fernando was also a talented artist who specialized in drawing.

He is survived by his brothers and sister: Manuel (Diana), Marcos, Javier (Michelle), Carlos and Iliana Rodriguez; his children: Anita, Regina, Fernando Jr. (Elizabeth) and Rachel Rodriguez; grandchildren: Santana, Christopher, Yasmine, Ian, Emma, Tarin, Kayden, Lily, Cali, Kingston, Aiayanna, Anissa and Owen; great grandchildren: Santana Jr., Roman and Jeremiah; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Emilda, granddaughter Ariela and nephew Miguel Jr.

Although he was a man of few words, Fernando loved his family and he loved to have a good time. He will be missed greatly!

A Celebration of Life will be held for Fernando in Blythe on September 24, 2022 at 10:00 am at the River of Life Church, 361 N Lovekin Blvd, immediately followed by a reception at the American Legion, 137 N Ash Ave.
