Evelyn Lydia Henington, age 94, died in her home on May 27, 2018 surrounded by her family.

Evelyn was born in Blythe, California on January 9, 1924, to Boone and Esther Conley.  She graduated Palo Verde High School in 1941.

Evelyn worked for Southern California Edison for 36 years and retired in 1979.  Evelyn and her husband Palmer also owned a clothing store in Blythe for many years named Henlee's.  Evelyn and Palmer enjoyed life and traveled the world together.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Robert Palmer Henington.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Leland and Joyce Conley of Blythe and her sister Rebecca Harrison of Dayton, Ohio.  Evelyn is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Evelyn had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be held at Palo Verde Cemetery on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 10:00 A.M.
