Esperanza Moralez, age 85, passed away peacefully October 10, 2019 at Eisenhower Hospital, Rancho Mirage CA. She was born January 15, 1934 to Bernardo Alderete and Maria Gallegos in Canutillo Texas, a small town just outside of El Paso Texas.

Esperanza married Esequiel Moralez on November 7, 1953 and shared 66 years of love and devotion. Esequiel and Esperanza moved to Blythe, CA 60 years ago. Her husband always worked in farming and she mostly worked in retail stores. Esperanza was a very active parishioner of the St. Joan of Arc church and was a long time member of the Guadalupanas among other Catholic organizations.

She loved to sew and make crafts in her spare time. Esperanza was a self taught seamstress. She first started sewing at the age of 14 at the Levi's Factory in El Paso, Tx. She worked at different stores in Blythe in the fabric department.

Her teaching and life was a living example of Bible verse, Corinthians 13 4-7 "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."

She is survived by her son Eddy Moralez, daughters Sylvia Moralez and Mary Moralez, her brother Angel Alderete and her sister Emma Orrantia both of El Paso, TX and as well as everyone else who's lives she touched. She was predeceased in death by her husband Esequiel Moralez and her daughter Theresa Moralez.

Please join us celebrating her life Friday, November 8, 2019, at the St Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Rosary will commence at 12:00pm. Following the rosary will be the Mass at 1:00pm. After the services there will be a reception at the VFW from 2 to 5pm.
