Blythe Resident Erma "Minnie" Arseo, passed away on July 18th, 2021.

Minnie was born on March 30th, 1938, in Tempe, Arizona to Carlos and Amelia Mendez. Minnie was the third of thirteen children. The family moved to Midland, California, where Minnie attended school, that is where she met Eli B. Arseo. The two wed in January 27, 1956, and later moved to Blythe, California. Eli and Minnie had four children: Eleanor "Shorty", James "Jimmy", Timothy "Timmy", and Rita.

Minnie was a house wife for many years, she later worked as an In-Home Health Care worker, and then as a Supervisor for Addus Home Care. After retiring, Minnie spent her time taking care of her family and others in need.

Minnie was preceded in death by her husband Eli B. Arseo; parents Carlos and Amelia; brothers Ernest, Carlos, George, and Danny; sisters Lucy, and Terry; son Jimmy; grandson James Eli Arseo Jr., and son-in-law Jerry Davis.

Minnie is survived by her lifelong partner, Rafael Garcia; daughters, Shorty and Rita (Carlos); son Timmy, daughter-in-law Lisa; her dear friend Isabel; sisters Lydia and Rosemary, and brother Louis. She is also survived by her grandchildren Chylea Rocco, Abriana Elms (Dorian), Lyndsey Venable (Russell), Sean Arseo (Jing Jing), Dylan Arseo (Angela), Elise Rodriguez (Kristopher) and Alexandria Rodriguez (Dylan) and her great grandchildren Cristian, Ty, Ashton and Kaleb Elms; Ava and Lyla Venable and Jayden Cole.

Funeral services for Minnie will be on Friday, August 13th, 2021 at Frye Chapel and Mortuary. Viewing will be from 9:00 to 10:00 am, with service starting at 10:00 am.  Burial services will follow at Palo Verde Cemetery.
