Eric
Stroschein
Aug 28, 1960 — Apr 12, 2022
Blythe
Eric Wayne Stroschein was a strong, kind, and loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend. He passed away at the family farm home in Blythe, CA on Tuesday April 12th at the age of 61.
Eric was born to Wayne and Gloria Stroschein on August 28, 1960 in Blythe, CA. He was the oldest of four and was the best big brother they could ask for.
Eric was raised in Blythe where he loved the community. He had a passion for his church, family, and of course, everything agriculture. He was regarded by many as a kind and genuine person. Eric would continually be helpful to anyone in any way he could.
Eric's passion for farming began at an early age. Being on the tractor was his happy place. He dedicated his life to agriculture. The smell of fresh cut hay will always remind us of him.
Eric attended Ruth Brown Elementary School, Blythe Middle School and Palo Verde High School. He graduated from Palo Verde High School with the Class of 1978. In high school, math was his passion. After high school, he attended NAU for two years, then came back home to work on the family farm.
He met his wife Judy in the 90s. They were married on March 27, 1999. With this union, he gained two daughters, Kerri Sanders and Kaylyn Green and two grandchildren, Charlie and Jaxon Sanders. Eric was the best father and grandfather; he cherished his family dearly.
Eric is survived by his sister, Debra and his brother, Russell (Becky); his stepdaughters Kerri and Kaylyn; his step-grandchildren Charlie and Jaxon; and his many nieces and nephews Brett, Rushell, Heather, Brent, Austin, Stephan, Caleb, Maddie, and Parker.
Eric was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Gloria, his brother Bert, and his wife Judy.
Eric will be remembered for his warm smile and kindness. He was a fun, goofy man who made you feel like family. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
