Emory
Brown
Aug 3, 1956 — Oct 5, 2025
Blythe
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Emory Brown, Division of Rehabilitative Programs, Amity Foundation Counselor.
Mr. Brown was a veteran in the United States Airforce. He began working at Ironwood State Prison on September 12, 2014, as an Alcohol or Other Drug (AOD) Counselor in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment (ISUDT) program.
Emory's passion was working on cars or anything with a motor. He thought the older the car the better and enjoyed talking about what he built over the years. Mr. Brown loved helping people and was always available to those that needed him. Emory will be remembered for his kind heart and his willingness to be present for those he was close to.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Emory on Saturday, Nov. 1st, 2025 at the American Legion from 1-4:00pm. It will be a potluck so please bring a dish to share. Emory was a productive member of Blythe's community and would help those that needed help. He always had a smile for everyone, no matter what.
