Dwane "Buck" Wesley Harris was born March 4, 1952 to Alta and Wesley Harris. He was a caring son, a loving husband, a devoted father, and an amazing tata/grandfather.

Dwane was a Blythe native, growing up with his younger brother Edmond Harris, and settling down to start a family in his beloved hometown. He attended and graduated from Palo Verde High School in 1970, and soon after met his future wife Irene DeLao; marrying on October 20, 1979. They were married for 43 years and had three children: Arisa, Davina, and Dwane Jr.

Dwane worked for The City of Blythe for 33 years, retiring from service in November 2011.

Dwane loved to fish, hunt, barbecue, watch movies, and to be outdoors. He would often be seen in his front yard chatting with family and friends. Dwane was a familiar face around town; always stopping to chat and ask how someone's day was going.

Dwane was proceeded in death by his parents Alta and Wesley Harris.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17th form 6-8:00 pm at Frye Chapel.  Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 18th at 10:00 am followed by burial services at Palo Verde Cemetery.
