Douglas Edward Wilson, 70 years old, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 in Blythe, California.

Doug was born on September 5, 1949 in De Queen, Arkansas to Samuel and Nettie Wilson.  He served in the United States Army (Armor Branch) where he was Honorably Discharged for his service to his country.

Doug was a heavy equipment operator for many years.  He met and married Barbara Huston in 2008 and together they have been living in Blythe for almost nine years.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs, along with playing games online (Big Farm and war games), and enjoyed making all kinds of crafts.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  Doug is survived by his wife, Barbara; his children, Renee, Stephanie and Douglas Jr.; his step children, Angelique, Rebecca, Samantha, James and Christopher; 12 grandchildren; his only surviving sister, Vondall, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be planned in the future when the virus restrictions are lifted.
