Dora S. Martinez, 86, passed away at Blythe Post Acute on Friday, May 19, 2023 with her family by her side.

Dora was born on September 2, 1936 in Brawley, CA to Pedro and Teresa Soriano.  She resided in Blythe for many years with her husband Pat Martinez, who passed away in 2009.

Dora was a very loving mother, wife and grandmother who loved and cared for all.  She will be deeply missed, but it is understood that she is now in a better place where the Lord needed her more.

Dora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Petronillo 'Pat' Martinez and her daughter, Elvia Ruiz.

She is survived by her daughter Jessie Luviano; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Friday, June 16th, 2023 with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. and services starting at 10:00 a.m., all at Frye Chapel.  Burial will follow at Palo Verde Cemetery.
