Dora Lopez Henry, 85 of Blythe, CA passed away July 6, 2017 at Eisenhower hospital in Rancho Mirage, CA. Born in Midland, CA on December 19, 1931 to Cirilo and Eutimia Lopez, she was the third of five children.
Dora worked at local pharmacies for many years. She always went above and beyond to help everyone and was known as the Perfume Lady.
She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed buying scratchers at her favorite locations, making and sharing her salsa, and making new friends. Many called her Nana and there were no strangers in her eyes.
Dora was well known for saying a prayer and lighting a candle for anyone in need.
She is survived by her children, David (Deanna) Navarro, Cecilia Navarro, Danny (Cristita) Navarro, Dino (Regina) Navarro and Christina (Brian) Pettit, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Dora was preceded in death by her husband William Henry, her parents Cirilo and Eutimia Lopez and siblings, Juan Lopez, Angelina Guilin and Beatrice Zarate.
A Celebration of Dora's life will take place at Frye Chapel on July 29, 2017 at 10:00 am followed by a gathering for family and friends at the VFW.
