Donald Eugene Love, 68, went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2019 in Palm Springs, California.

He was born July 22, 1950 in Meridian, Oklahoma to Simmie Love and Lillie (Wiley) Love.  He moved to Blythe with his parents at a very young age.  After graduating from Palo Verde High School he joined the United States Army and was Honorably Discharged for his service of two years.

Donnie worked as a Zanjero for the Palo Verde Irrigation District for 23 years.

He was preceded in death by his baby brother, Marvin Love, his mother, Lillie Love and daughter, Renae Love.

Donnie is survived by his children, Deanna Love, Breana and Jaden Love; his father, Simmie (Lola) Love; his brother, Troy (Melinda) Love; as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services for Donnie will be held on Monday, May 20th at 10:00 a.m. at Frye Chapel.
