Deloras
Cierley
Dec 30, 1941 — Oct 8, 2022
Blythe
Our dear mother, Deloras Cierley, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of the Lord Jesus Christ, on October 8, 2022. She was born December 30, 1941 in Los Angeles and raised there. Deloras moved to Blythe, California in 1975 where she lived until her passing. She loved the people that lived here and the country life. She made many friendships in Blythe. She loved and was well loved by all of them.
Deloras had a wonderful full spirited personality. She was always there for anyone in their time of need. She was blessed to be a stay at home mom with her children. A very difficult undertaking with boys! While her husband was performing his duties of public service and safety to the City of Los Angeles she performed gracefully and managed the home as well. On most days her duties as a mom, home manager, along with keeping her sons in line was a very daunting task compared to her husband patrolling the Los Angeles streets.
She loved her sons and grandchildren immensely. She was predeceased by her loving spouse Ray A. Cierley. They were married for 63 years.
She is predeceased by Josephine Valenzuela (mother) and Severiano Salazar (brother).
She is survived by her sons, Ray Gilbert, Daniel Ray and Robert Ray Cierley; grandchildren Robert Cierley Jr., Alexis Raye Cano, Mikayla Marie Hackney, Brandon Lee Cierley, Savannah Danielle Cierley and Emi Cierley; great grandchildren Hanley Cano, Xander Cano, Nolan Cano and Calvin Hackney; and 2 special friends that she considered daughters - Frances Cierley and Marissa Kalian.
As per our mother's wishes, she did not wish to have any services or ceremonies. She only asked for our prayers and remembrances of her life as she proceeded on her journey.
Thank you to all the friends and family that were a part of her life.
