David Lee Houser, 70, of Blythe, California left this earth on January 1, 2023.

David was born on July 12, 1952 to Leonard and Sylvia Houser in New Kensington, Pennsylvania.

Moving to Blythe in the 60's, David attended the local grade schools and graduated from Palo Verde High School in 1972 where he was a drum major and led the marching band. David's love for drums stayed with him his entire life and he was absolutely amazing at it. He was truly the best drummer in Blythe.

David loved his family and loved to "torture" us all with his "tickling" that, trust us, we will all never forget. His laughter and spirit were contagious to all who were around him. He refused to live life sad and truly made the best of every day.

David loved watching football, playing the drums and the "Andy Griffith Show", literally knowing every word to every episode.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Sylvia Houser, brothers Leonard "Lucky" Houser and Larry Houser, sisters Tricia Houser and Cheryl Smith, and son-in-law Isaac Moore.

He is survived by his children: sons Chris Houser, Jason Atkinson and David "Buddy" Houser; his daughters Nicole Moore, Stacy Houser and Samantha Houser; 11 grandsons, 10 granddaughters, 8 great grandsons and 3 great granddaughters.

Memorial service for David will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Frye Chapel.
