Long time Blythe resident, Danny Mendez, passed away on December 30, 2018.

Danny was born on November 10, 1945 to Carlos and Amelia Mendez in Needles, California. He eventually moved to Blythe where he met his future wife Patricia Delgado. Danny and Patricia were married on July 29, 1978. Together they had two daughters, Roseanna and DeElla.

Danny's hard work ethic did not go unnoticed as he worked for the Palo Verde Irrigation District as a truck driver for 36 years. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends from fixing cars to helping in the yard. Danny always had a smile and will be greatly missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his mother Amelia, father Carlos, brothers Ernest, Carlos, George, sisters Lucy and Terry.

Danny is survived by his wife Patricia, his daughters Roseanna and DeElla, sisters Erma, Lydia, Rosemary, and brother Louis.

Viewing will be from 9 – 11 am at Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Blythe, CA with services beginning at 11:00 am.  Burial services will follow at Palo Verde Cemetery.
