Obituary

+Dan Lindley Delano
October 4, 1957- April 2, 2024

It is with great sadness to announce that Dan L. Delano passed away on April 2, 2024. He was surrounded by his family as he left this earth and moved on to paradise.

Dan was born in Palo Verde Hospital in Blythe, California on October 4, 1957 to Jim and Beverly Delano. He attended Blythe elementary schools and graduated from Palo Verde High School in 1975. He worked while in high school at Safeway and Alpha Beta for almost 20 years. He switched careers and worked for Desert Plumbing and Lusk Plumbing until he had to medically retire. One of his most favorite jobs was being a volunteer Firefighter for the City of Blythe.

He lived in Blythe until 2011 and then moved to the San Diego area to be near his sister.

Dan loved going on KISS cruises with his friend Reyes Villanueva. He was a dove hunter and a compound bow enthusiast. He also took many vacations to his favorite place in Kauai, Hawaii.

Dan always enjoyed giving snacks to all the dogs at his condo complex, also meeting and welcoming new people to the complex.

A private service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers please donate in Dan's name to https://www.heart.org/donate or https:// colorectalcancer.org/donate
