Dale Stanley Reynolds passed away in Tucson, AZ on Wednesday morning, September 9, 2026, at age 71.
He was born in Las Vegas, NV, on June 22, 1955, to Paul and Alice Molina Reynolds. Dale married Clara Toombs on January 12, 1980, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was a lifelong resident of Blythe, CA, before moving to Arizona in 2023. He served the City of Blythe as Mayor from 2017 to 2021 and as a City Councilman from 2015 to 2024. Dale also volunteered with the Blythe Police Department Citizens Patrol. His career included serving as an Administrative Supervisor for PVVTA and as a Regional Manager for Hyder Property Management, where his wife, Clara, worked alongside him in the business office.
Dale supported his beloved community through local events and organizations, including the annual Homecoming Parade—an event he and his brother Mike looked forward to attending every Homecoming weekend—the annual Christmas Parade, the Festival of Trees, which Dale introduced to the community, and the Colorado River Fair & Livestock Show.
He made an impact on everyone he met and always greeted others with his signature phrase, “What-Up.”
Dale was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Paul Jr.; his wife of 42 years, Clara; and daughter, Melinda.
He is survived by children, Michael (Jennifer) and Terry (Jessica); his grandchildren, Amanda (Edgar), Ryan, Michael (Marissa), Trysten, Kylie, Zachary, Taylar, Callista, Dakota, and Brayden, and their great-grandchildren are Zane, Ashton, Ryder, Emma, Nixon, Dom, Dawson, Jayson, Lakai, and Elijah; his siblings, Larry (Terry), Mike (Elsie), Clauda (Marvin), and Pauline; his nieces and nephews, Kimberly (Eric), Rob (Seanna), Mianah (Santiago), Giovanni (Valerie), Alexis (Pete), Shelley, Aaron, and Jillian; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nathan, Makenna, Harlow, Gianna, Bella, Logan, Teiah (Brandon), Noa (Piper), Kash, Savannah, Analisa, Dominic, Oliva, Nic (Andrew), and Shalee. He is also survived by his great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, Amias, Adrian, Ace, Mateo, Aidan, Ashton, and Lydia.
A Celebration of Life honoring Dale will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at 2:00 pm at PVVTA, 415 N. Main Street in Blythe.
