It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the death of Alick Curtiss Fragoso. Curt died unexpectedly May 7, 2023, at his home in Moreno Valley, California. Curt was born to Peggy Sue (Sparks) Fragoso and Alex Fidel Fragoso on June 30, 1972, in Gardena California. He grew up in Orange and Riverside Counties and graduated from Nueva Vista High School. Curt worked most of his life as an electrician. At the time of his death, he was a proud Union electrician of IBEW Local 640.

Curt had many life interests. He was a lifelong off roader spending many weekends in Glamis and other places enjoying the outdoors with his friends and family. His love of NASCAR led him to many parts of the country where he and Jennifer attended numerous races. His greatest love was fishing, from the time he was old enough to hold a pole he had a passion for fishing, especially deep-sea fishing. Curt loved the fishing boats and headed out to sea at every opportunity. He enjoyed the sport so much that he organized fishing trips for friends and others and charted fishing boats for these excursions. He came back with many interesting stories and a lot of fish.

He was proceeded in death by his father Alex Fidel Fragoso, his grandmother Dolores Sparks and grandparents Alick and Clementine Fragoso.

He leaves his mother Peggy West of Idaho Falls, Idaho. His loving companion Jennifer Wilcot of Moreno Valley, California. His brother Don Fragoso (Linda) of Orange County, his brother Mark Fragoso (Annmarie) of Blythe, California and nieces Carrie Maltes (Kristopher) of Manteca, California , Christopher Fragoso (Brittany) of Menifee, California, Krista Fry (Nick) of Blythe, California, Constance Fragoso (Jake) of Blythe, Kyle Fragoso and Rachel Fragoso of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tyler McCullough of Orange County and Claire Fragoso of Blythe, California, Great nice Kristen Maltes and great nephews Travis Maltes, Mason Fragoso and Jordan Fry as well as many friends and coworkers.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Blythe, California, 633 North 7th St.
Friends, family and co-workers are encouraged to speak and share stories or memories of Curt.

After the service, please join us for a luncheon at the home of Mark and Annmarie Fragoso at 570 Parker Pl., Blythe, CA 92225.

Curt will never be forgotten by those of us who loved him. We are so blessed to have had him in our lives.
