Cora Tipton

01/26/1964 – 08/16/2025

Cora Tipton was born in Blythe to Frances and George Fowler. She was one of ten children. Cora lost her twin brother James (Bubba) at age 18, who went to be with the Lord. That incident never left Cora's heart or mind.

Cora was married to Danny Tipton on May 11, 1985 in Blythe. She has two children both of Blythe. DJ, 38 and Dustin, 35. She was a wonderful mother who also had a 17 year career with Ironwood Prison.

Cora had a passion for music and loved to sing gospel songs honoring her God. She loved having her gospel music up loud and singing along while working at home.

Cora passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in her sleep. She leaves behind her husband Danny, her sons DJ and Dustin, two beautiful grandchildren, and two sisters.

Cora, you will be missed.

A Celebration of Life for Cora will be held at Higher Vision Church on Tuesday, August 26th from 4-6:00 p.m.
