In Loving Memory of Concha Cancio

May 18, 1934 – September 3, 2026 

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Concha Cancio.

Concha was born in Firebaugh, California, and later made her home in Blythe, California. She was a hardworking, kind, and caring woman who would always help anyone in need. She spent many years working in the fields and in lawn care. She loved gardening, especially her beautiful flowers and roses.

Concha loved cooking delicious food and caring for her family. We will always cherish the special memories we shared with her, including the love she showed in the little things like sending us off to school with flowers for our teachers.

Concha was preceded in death by her mother, Concepcion Perez, father, Antonio Perez, first husband, Pete Hernandez; her second husband, Felix Cancio; her daughter, Susie; and her son, Peter.

She leaves behind her loving family, including her children Nellie Martinez (Mitch), Christina Benitez (David), Daniel Hernandez, Tony Hernandez (Esperanza), Albert Hernandez (Lorenza), David Hernandez, and Robert Cancio, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She will forever be loved, missed, and remembered.
