Clemente Anthony Ortiz, known better by almost everyone as "Tiny", passed away May 6, 2018 in San Bernardino, California.
Tiny had been in a vegetative state for almost 15 years after suffering from a massive aneurysm in December of 2003. Our hearts are comforted knowing that he is finally resting in peace.
Tiny was born on February 2, 1951 in Blythe to Frank and Cecilia Ortiz. He was the fourth child born of nine siblings. Tiny graduated from Palo Verde High School in 1969 and worked various places in Blythe and Eagle Mountain, including the packing sheds during the melon seasons for Hi-Value/Fisher Ranch and Kaiser Steel. He married Norma Saldivar on February 28, 1977.
Tiny was preceded in death by his parents Cecilia and Frank Ortiz; and his brother Donald Ortiz.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Norma; children, Clemente and his wife Beth, Yesenia and her husband Salvador and Geoff Ortiz; his grandchildren, Rebecca Ortiz, Anjoleena Cebreros, Ayden Cebreros, Alyssa Cebreros, Leslie Kebbas, Tevarae Berry and Zoey White; his siblings, Jenny Creighton, Cynthia VanDeloop, Frankie Ortiz, Anita Gage, Robert Ortiz, Terri Armenta and Pat (Rick) Armenta; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services for Tiny will be held at Frye Chapel on Thursday, May 17th with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. and funeral service starting at 10:00 a.m.
