Catherine 'Katy' Nikitas Petraglia, 74, passed away January 25, 2017 at her home in Blythe.
She was born November 18, 1942 in Calexico, California to Gregoria and Angelo Nikitas. She had lived in Blythe since she was 12 years old.
Katy is survived by her husband, John Petraglia; her children Manuel Vasquez, Vivian Medrano and Juan Jose Roman; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Virginia Garcia.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 2nd from 5-8:00 p.m. at Frye Chapel. Funeral service will be Friday, Feb. 3rd at 10:00 a.m. also at Frye Chapel with burial following at Palo Verde Cemetery.
