Carlos "Chuck" Serrato Jr., passed away suddenly Friday, July 24, 2020 at his home in La Quinta of natural causes.

Carlos was born in La Mesa, Texas to Carlos and Graciela. The family moved to Ripley when he was two years old and later to Blythe. Carlos attended the local schools and graduated from Palo Verde High School in 1982, he was a member of the Palo Verde Band.

Carlos enjoyed all sports but most of all he was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the LA Lakers; he never missed a game either with friends at Dallas Cowboys Fan Club, attending ball games in Los Angeles with his nephew and family or at home with his dad.

Carlos is survived by his parents Graciela and Carlos Serrato; siblings Daniel Serrato and Graciela (Jesus) Islas; his nieces and nephews, Jesus, Veronica, Nicholas, Hannah, Christian and Ashlyn; two great nephews and a great niece, several uncles, aunts and numerous cousins and friends.
