Tiburcio H. Carrillo
"Butch"
Sunrise: September 16, 1979 – Sunset: February 23, 2024
It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Butch Carrillo. Butch was unexpectedly and tragically taken from his family and friends on February 23, 2024 in Blythe. He was 44 years old.
Butch was born in Port Hueneme, CA on September 16, 1979 to Vivian Medrano and Herminio Carrillo. He was raised in Nyeland Acres, CA and moved to Blythe, CA at the age of 10. He attended Rio Real Elementary and Ruth Brown Elementary School.
At a young age, Butch like skateboarding, karate (he wanted to be a ninja), boxing, fishing and baseball. He also liked drawing, cooking and baking. Butch loved the outdoors, playing his guitar, tattoos and hanging out with family and friends. He also loved hanging out at the river and if you knew Butch, you knew where to find him...kicking back somewhere with his homies, drinking his beer. Most of all he was the biggest jokester and making us laugh is what he did best.
Butch was blessed with three sons who were his pride and joy: Anthony Carrillo, Angelo Carrillo and Fabyan Carrillo. He loved spending time with his boys and bragging about them. He especially loved hanging out with them in the studio. Although his boys felt awkward having Pops sitting in the back watching them work, his absence will surely be missed in the studio sessions.
Butch is survived by his mother Vivian (Antero) Medrano, father Herminio (Anna) Carrillo, siblings, Veronica (Ramon) Carrillo, Christopher (Candace) Carrillo, Elizabeth Carrillo, Benjamin Serrano, Ruben Serrano, Brenda Medrano, Abraham (Brandi) Medrano, his sons, Anthony, Angelo and Fabyan Carrillo, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Antero "Terito" Medrano Jr., his nana Catherine Nikitas, his abuelita Maria Cruz Montoya and his tia Virginia "Pituca" Garcia.
Till we meet again...See you later foo!
