Bradley Steven Hanna came into this world on March 29, 1977 weighing in at 9 lbs and 2 oz in Bakersfield, CA. to Diana and Herb Hanna.  He came home to a big sister, Judy Hanna-Browder who had to wear a mask around him because Mom said she had a cold, and she is still traumatized by this.  He started kindergarten in Madera, California and then the family moved to Blythe, California.

He started First grade at Ruth Brown Elementary School and had Mrs. Halby as his first grade teacher.  Little did she know when she gave him some scissors on the first day he would give himself a beautiful new haircut and hide the evidence in his desk.

Brad's class was the first class to attend the Blythe Middle School, which included all sixth graders.  During this time you could find Brad on his three wheeler with a trailer hooked up and dog in tow riding all over the ditch banks of the Palo Verde Valley.

He then went on to Palo Verde High School.  One of Brad's favorite classes was Automotive with Mr. Holt.  His heart belonged to the Future Farmers of America and Wendy Mullion.  He was always fixing broken water lines, building new pens, driving tractors, and assisting Wendy with anything she needed.  Brad lived in a time where the boys brought their trucks to school, and their guns in their gun racks.  Hanging out in the desert around bonfires and great friends were his favorite activities.  Brad loved to be involved in the annual Christmas and Homecoming parades from riding his three wheelers to spinning lighted up swathers down the route.

Brad loved to spend his summers in Cayucos, CA. where he fished all morning off the pier listening to the local old fishermen stories, he never met a stranger.  During the afternoon you could find Brad in the ocean boogie boarding until dinner time.

During his high school years he had a group of friends that have remained close to this day.  Brad was a die hard Chicago Bears Football fan, he loved them since the 'Fridge' and the Super Bowl Shuffle!

He worked with his dad on the farm during high school and always enjoyed being dad's mini-me.  Brad often attended meetings with his dad and later on became the youngest member of the Blythe Lions Club.  He did many pancake breakfasts and steak dinners with all the men.

Brads first job was during high school years at Checker Automotive and after graduation he went to work at PVID.  He then went on to work for All American Turf Grass company until they moved their operation out of Arizona.  Brad started working at Empire in Blythe and enjoyed all his coworkers and made a lot of wonderful friends.

Brad and Amy were married and they had their first child, Ethan Hanna on August 24, 2003.  On May 12, 2012, Corbin Hanna was born and Brad was so excited to have two little boys and loved raising them in the valley.  The river, desert, and agriculture is what Brad surrounded his boys with.  He taught them how to fish, shoot BB guns, swim, drive side by sides, swing on a porch and enjoy the quiet country life.  He loved his boys so much and they loved him.

If you know Brad, you know he loved to cook and he was good at it!  His favorite was smoking meat, and he prided himself on his smoking capabilities.  He loved to cook for everyone and when he cooked he cooked big!  Leftovers for days, so everyone got 'to go' boxes to take home from his house, seriously he had restaurant 'to go' boxes.  Brad loved to entertain, come over anytime and he would fire up the grill.

Brad and his family were very close and he was an amazing uncle to his nieces, Hanna and Kendall.  He loved to argue with his college bound niece Hanna on guns and the NRA, which was always done on Facebook until Diana would chime in and say let's talk about Elvis.  They both loved the bantering and had fun doing it.  Brad always had Hanna over when she came home from college for food and cards against humanity games.  Kendall was always bummed that she wasn't old enough to participate.

Brad found the perfect job with Fondomonte as a Regional Maintenance Manager. He loved the company and all the people he worked with, he often would make food for his coworkers from beef jerky to Phu and always greeted them with a smile on his face.

Brad had a family that loved him and cherished him and when he left this world so unexpectedly on May 23rd, he left a hole in the family that can never be filled.  We will miss his smile, his laugh, and his joy of life.

Memorial service for Brad will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Frye Chapel.
