Obituary

Bobby Miranda, 69, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 in Victorville, CA after a long illness.

Bobby was born August 17, 1954 in Phoenix, AZ to Lionel and Stella Miranda and is one of six kids.

Bobby grew up in Blythe and graduated from Palo Verde High School with the Class of 1972.  One of his passions was playing baseball/softball and he was good at it. He became a much loved and respected coach.  He made his love of yard work a part time job when work was available and always left clients happy with his finished work. He was a wonderful and dependable friend and neighbor and had a good heart and would help anyone in need if he could. He stayed at home with his parents to help them as they grew older. Bobby loved music and loved to sing and could tell you the artist and name of most songs in nearly any genre. Bobby was a bright spot in the lives of many people and he could have a conversation with just about anyone on any subject. He never thought he was above anyone.

Although Bobby had no children of his own, he had many nieces and nephews and was close to them all. Bobby was preceded in death by his brothers, Lionel Miranda Jr. and Michael Miranda.  He is survived by his mother and father Stella and Lionel Miranda Sr.; his brother Rick Miranda and sisters Diane Contreras and Joanne Camargo; as well as the many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Bobby will be greatly missed.

A memorial service for Bobby will be held on Friday, March 22nd at 10:00 a.m. at Frye Chapel in Blythe with a reception to follow at VFW Post 2987.
