Obituary

Robert "Bob" Wayne Trenholm was born on January 15th, 1945 in Los Angeles, CA to Wayne and Bessie Trenholm. He was the oldest of four children. Wayne and Bessie had two boys, Bob and Don Trenholm, and twin daughters Karen Winkler and Sharen Trenholm Eavenson.

Bob proudly served time in the Navy in 1963 before settling in his career as an engineer.  In his free time, he loved to play the guitar and even had a band with his brother Don and a few friends.  Music was always one of Bob's favorite pastimes and always encouraged his grandchildren to learn an instrument. There was never a road trip without some of his favorite oldies playing on the radio. He loved to travel and always took his family with him whether it was to camp out in Prescott, AZ or just visiting mom and dad in Yucca Valley, CA.  He loved to go to any place he could park his trailer, ride a quad, and sit back with a beer. Bob loved to be social and could always be found at one of his favorite hang outs like Charlie's, B&B Bait, or the VFW.  Like he would always say "It's 5 o'clock somewhere!"

Bob moved to Blythe in the early 90's to work at Ironwood State Prison as a Stationary Engineer. He's been in Blythe ever since and retired from Ironwood in May of 2007.

Bob's first marriage was to Bonnie in the 60's and had two children, Tonya and Robert Jr. Later in 1982, he met Alicia Suzuki in Rosarito Beach and got married not long after. Marrying Alicia gave Bob four bonus kids: Maria Lee Suzuki, Ricardo (Maria Francisca) Lee Suzuki, Jorge Lee Suzuki, and Pedro (Rosario) Meza Suzuki.  And with those bonus kids came all of his grandkids, Anna Anciso, Ricardo Lee, Georgina (Jose) Lee, Jorge Lee, Kathy Meza, Alberto (Irene) Lee, Jonathan Lee, Pedro Meza Jr, Alejandro Lee, Arianna Lee, Zaira Meza, and six great grandchildren, Cali Anciso, Daniel Medina, Julius Flores, Benny Anciso, Leelonie Flores, and Alberto Lee Jr.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Bessie Trenholm, his sister Karen Winkler, his brother Don Trenholm, his daughter Tonya Trenholm, his grandson Jorge Lee, his niece Becky Winkler, his wife Alicia Suzuki Trenholm and great grandson Alberto Lee Jr.

He is survived by his sister Sharen Trenholm Eavenson, son Robert Jr, daughter Maria, sons Ricardo, Jorge, and Pedro along with all his grandkids and great grandkids and also numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob's services will start with a viewing on Friday, December 8th at Frye Chapel from 5-8pm with the Rosary at 7pm.  Mass will be at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church on Saturday, December 9th at 10am.
