BARRY GLENN LEWIS
November 10, 1939 – September 17, 2023

Barry Glenn Lewis, age 83, passed away on September 17, 2023 at home in Blythe surrounded by his family.  He was born to Virgil and Gladys Lewis in Mesa, Arizona on November 10, 1939.  Barry leaves his wife of 51 years, Cathy, sons Morgan (Leslie) and Forrest (Shaunte), and five grandchildren, Brayden, Riley, Brody, Skylar, and Addison.

Barry moved to Blythe with his family when he was 12 years old.  He attended local schools, graduating from Palo Verde High School in 1958.  After serving in the army for two years and graduating from college, Barry returned to Blythe.  He taught school for many years in the Palo Verde Unified School District.  Barry enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing with his sons and friends.  Among his favorite pastimes were doing crossword puzzles, watching western movies, especially those starring John Wayne, and visiting with friends at B & B Bait Shop.

Barry loved his family and was especially proud of his two sons.  He will be missed by those who loved him.  There will be a celebration of life for Barry in the fall for his family and friends.
